Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Nituda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Rimmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nituda comes to the cage accompanied by Not Afraid by Eminem. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Nituda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Rimmer! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nituda tries to clinch up letting Rimmer counter with a right hand. Nituda tries to sprawl but Rimmer drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nituda tries to roll over but Rimmer keeps him under control. Rimmer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nituda knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Nituda has a hand on Rimmer's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rimmer takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Rimmer looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rimmer trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rimmer content just to control the position here. Rimmer avoids the attempt from Nituda to control. Rimmer controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tim Rimmer. Rimmer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rimmer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rimmer controlling from the full mount. Rimmer working away from the top, dropping strikes. Rimmer breaks from Nituda's wrist control and lands an elbow. Rimmer controlling the position easily from mount. Rimmer with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rimmer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Nituda hang on? Rimmer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rimmer goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nituda is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rimmer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nituda manages to get himself to full guard.
Rimmer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nituda is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nituda can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rimmer controls the pace. Rimmer looking to pass the guard. Rimmer gets to his feet - Nituda follows without any prompting. Nituda is breathing heavily. Nituda gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rimmer stands up from guard. Let's bang! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Rimmer dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rimmer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nituda looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nituda is looking for a sweep. Tim Rimmer has got the better of the ground game so far. Nituda being controlled for a moment. Rimmer lands a nice forearm strike. Rimmer taking a breather here. Rimmer decides to stand back up. Rimmer steps back and let's Nituda get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rimmer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nituda's guard. Rimmer scoring with some ground and pound. Rimmer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Nituda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rimmer lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Rimmer trying to control but Nituda is working from the bottom. Rimmer passes into half guard. Rimmer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rimmer controlling the action here. Nituda on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nituda tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rimmer seems to be looking for submissions.
Rimmer decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Nituda shoots and misses and Rimmer counters with a one-two to the body. Rimmer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nituda tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rimmer is in Nituda's guard. Rimmer advances position into side control! Rimmer cracks Nituda with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rimmer working the head with strikes. Rimmer decides to stand back up. Rimmer steps back and let's Nituda get back to his feet. Rimmer shoots in and gets a takedown into Nituda's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nituda wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rimmer is now in half guard. Rimmer slows the pace down in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Rimmer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rimmer. The referee asks Rimmer politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rimmer prefers to stall for the moment though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rimmer decides to stand back up. Rimmer steps back and let's Nituda get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rimmer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rimmer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rimmer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nituda sprawls well initially but Rimmer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nituda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rimmer on the ground. Rimmer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ground and pound from Rimmer. Nituda wants to get back to full guard but Rimmer has mounted him! Rimmer connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rimmer scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Rimmer controlling from mount. You get the feeling that Nituda really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nituda in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Rimmer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nituda's face.
Rimmer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rimmer controlling the pace for now. Rimmer cracks Nituda with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rimmer is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Nituda is forced to tap! Great finish!
