Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joachim SenHan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Rogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joachim SenHan!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

SenHan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rogan's guard.
SenHan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
SenHan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

SenHan has gone for a leg lock! Rogan slips out almost immediately though and dives into SenHan's guard.

SenHan has control of Rogan's left arm, preventing Rogan from doing any damage.
Rogan wants to stand but SenHan is controlling his posture from full guard.
SenHan pulls Rogan in to control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
SenHan has a closed guard, preventing Rogan from standing up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joachim SenHan was stalling too much, according to the referee.

SenHan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than SenHan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Poor strikes thrown by SenHan there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
SenHan looking to land elbow strikes but Rogan uses the position to regain half guard.
SenHan prevents Rogan from standing back up.
Well, if SenHan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Rogan regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from SenHan.
SenHan trying to control but Rogan is working from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joachim SenHan was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Rogan pushes SenHan up against the cage in a clinch.
SenHan takes an elbow to the temple.
SenHan working hard to break the clinch.
SenHan dodges an elbow strike from Rogan.
SenHan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rogan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Rogan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and SenHan avoids it.
SenHan avoids a wild elbow strike from Rogan.
SenHan tries for a takedown but Rogan manages to get underhooks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rogan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
SenHan tries to score a body lock takedown but Rogan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Joe Rogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joachim SenHan.
Rogan lands an elbow that stopped SenHan in his tracks for a moment.
Rogan pushes off an throws an elbow but SenHan leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
SenHan goes for a takedown attempt but Rogan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joachim SenHan dominated that round.
That's time! Rogan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Rogan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
SenHan dodges an elbow strike from Rogan.
SenHan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rogan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Rogan throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Rogan taking a breather.
SenHan managing to block the knees to the body from Rogan.
Rogan lands an elbow inside that SenHan shrugs off.


It looks like Joachim SenHan has been cut.
SenHan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

SenHan jumps guard and drags Rogan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
SenHan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
SenHan has control of Rogan's left arm, preventing Rogan from doing any damage.

SenHan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rogan!
SenHan throwing strikes here but Rogan is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
SenHan looking to finish with strikes here!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
SenHan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Rogan taking shots to the head.
SenHan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rogan is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
SenHan controlling the position easily from mount.

SenHan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rogan is now in SenHan's guard. A big mistake from SenHan there, giving up the dominant position!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Rogan got a little sloppy there for a moment and SenHan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rogan has managed to get both his arms back between SenHan's legs - danger averted.
SenHan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rogan is one step ahead there.
SenHan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

SenHan has his hands on Rogan's head, controlling the position.

Joachim SenHan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



SenHan shoots in and gets a takedown into Rogan's guard.
SenHan scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
SenHan wants to control from the top but Rogan keeps moving.
SenHan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rogan is keeping the position for now.
SenHan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
SenHan won't allow Rogan to get back to his feet.

SenHan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
SenHan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
SenHan advances position into side control!

SenHan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rogan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. SenHan yanks on the arm and Rogan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by SenHan.
