These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Lipton counters with a straight right hand.
Mcgillivary swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mcgillivary throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lipton tries for a takedown but Mcgillivary circles away easily
and Mcgillivary counters with a one-two to the body.
Lipton gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mcgillivary.
It looks like Cameron Lipton has been cut.
Mcgillivary misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lipton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Mcgillivary shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lipton eats them both and turns towards Mcgillivary to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lipton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mcgillivary.
Lipton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mcgillivary throws a series of punches but Lipton avoids them all with ease.
Mcgillivary tries to bum rush Lipton with a series of wild strikes but Lipton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mcgillivary throws a right and a left that Lipton avoids nicely.
Lipton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mcgillivary connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mcgillivary lands a hook that stumbles Lipton back into the cage. Mcgillivary follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Lipton to the canvas! Mcgillivary pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Lipton has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
