PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ringo Spice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diron Kalou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spice's waist but Spice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalou off to one side.
Kalou drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Spice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kalou moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Spice throws a looping overhand right but Kalou ducks down to avoid it.
Spice stalks Kalou and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kalou's face. Kalou staggers backwards, shaken.
Danga de danga de dang - Spice scores with a four punch combination!
Spice throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kalou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spice as he avoids it easily.
Kalou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spice pinned against the cage. Spice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ringo Spice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diron Kalou.
Kalou scores with a head kick. Spice tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Kalou shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Spice manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spice is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kalou defends well.
Kalou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kalou is sitting in close to Spice's body. Spice has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kalou is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kalou is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Spice.
