Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raimonds Bergmanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bergmanis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Twiztid - We Don't Die. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as James Green enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Raimonds Bergmanis! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, James Green! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bergmanis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bergmanis works his foot free and advances to mount. Green can't escape the position.
Green wants to control but Bergmanis is having none of it. A nice elbow there by Bergmanis. Green is trying to escape the mount.
Green wants to hold on but Bergmanis pushes him away. Bergmanis looking to control but Green is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bergmanis controlling the pace for now. Bergmanis landing shots from mount. Green is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bergmanis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Green is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bergmanis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bergmanis looking to control and managing it successfully. Green tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Green is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bergmanis raining down hammerfists from mount. Green is looking to improve his position but Bergmanis isn't that keen on the idea. Green regains half guard. Still in half guard, Bergmanis seems content to control.

Bergmanis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Green is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bergmanis scores with a couple of nice shots. Bergmanis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Green keeps working. Still in half guard, Bergmanis seems content to control. Green slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bergmanis sitting in guard here, content to control. Green tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bergmanis trying to control the position from guard on top but Green is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We're going to have a standup here because Raimonds Bergmanis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Green swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

enabling Bergmanis to counter with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raimonds Bergmanis dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bergmanis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bergmanis tries to work over Green's front leg with a kick but Green checks it. Green misses with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bergmanis throws a lazy uppercut
and Green counters with a takedown into side control. Bergmanis is not content to let Green control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green swings around for an armbar but Bergmanis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Green's guard. Green has his foot on Bergmanis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bergmanis works his way back into a safe position though. Bergmanis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Green throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bergmanis trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Bergmanis preventing the sweep. Bergmanis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Green looking for a sweep. Not yet Green, not yet. Green manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bergmanis wants to control but Green is having none of it. Green raining down shots from the mount! Green content just to control the position here. Bergmanis wants to hold on but Green pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green controlling from mount. Bergmanis is squirming around, avoiding Green's attempts to control the action. Bergmanis has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Green's lack of action.
Green looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bergmanis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Green sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bergmanis works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bergmanis pulls Green in close to his closed guard and prevents Green from doing any damage or advancing position. Bergmanis trying to control the position.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Bergmanis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bergmanis is adopting a defensive guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bergmanis walks into a left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bergmanis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. James Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Green tries to close the distance and clinch but Bergmanis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bergmanis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bergmanis dodges the punch combination from Green.
Bergmanis throws a lazy uppercut
and Green counters with a nice body shot. Green swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Green fails with a takedown attempt. Bergmanis cracks Green with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green wants to land a leg kick but Bergmanis is out of range. A jab from Green misses. Nice shot by Green. Bergmanis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Green counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bergmanis prevents Green from improving position. Green tries to move to full mount but Bergmanis actually manages to regain half guard. Bergmanis is staying active underneath Green, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bergmanis wants to improve his position but Green is controlling well.
Green wants to pass the guard but Bergmanis is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Green seems to be looking for submissions.
Bergmanis has his hands clasped together around Green's back. He's all about the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Green really dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bergmanis has his takedown stuffed and Green makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Green shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bergmanis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Green counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Green. Bergmanis pulls Green in close to prevent any damage. Green advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bergmanis is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Green's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Green is looking to take a break and control but Bergmanis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Green working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bergmanis's thigh. Bergmanis counters though and makes it back to full guard. James Green has got the better of the ground game so far. Bergmanis keeping full guard, as Green tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green trying to control but Bergmanis is working from the bottom. Green is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. James Green was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bergmanis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Green swings widly with a right hand
and Bergmanis counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Green thinking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Green throws a right hand that misses
and Bergmanis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bergmanis is looking to land body kicks. Green misses with a lunging right hand
and Bergmanis counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bergmanis is trying to control the action in half guard but Green is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Green manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close fourth round but I would say that Raimonds Bergmanis will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Green fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bergmanis manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bergmanis misses with an uppercut. Green saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green misses with a hook. Bergmanis ducked under it nicely. Bergmanis jabs Green to the body, keeping him at a distance. A looping hook to the body misses from Green. Bergmanis does a little dance to reset his feet. Bergmanis swats away the attempt to clinch by Green. Sloppy strikes from Green. Those never looked like landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Green tries to clinch up. Green lands a really nice looking cross but Bergmanis seems unphased.
Green fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bergmanis to the ground. Green is now in Bergmanis's guard. Bergmanis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bergmanis managing to control the position. Green advances to half guard. Green is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bergmanis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Green. Bergmanis is looking for a sweep. Green is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bergmanis is positioning himself well to prevent Green advancing to mount. Bergmanis is trying to maintain the position but Green is very close to passing his half guard. Bergmanis is staying active underneath Green, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
James Green has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Green rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bergmanis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that's the end of the fight! James Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Green has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
