Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eino Nappi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hae Ki Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappi comes to the ring accompanied by O Fortuna. Hae Ki Park has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hae Ki Park!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nappi, right into the meat.
The fighters circling - Nappi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Park swings for the body but Nappi moves out of range.
Park misses with a right hand

and Nappi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Park is controlling Nappi's trapped leg to prevent Nappi from advancing to side control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Park got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nappi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Park has managed to get both his arms back between Nappi's legs - danger averted.

Park ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nappi moves away.

and Park counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nappi's knee momentarily.
Horrible takedown by Nappi or perhaps it was just good defense by Park which made him look bad.

Nappi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Park walks away with a smile on his face. Nappi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Eino Nappi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Park looks to throw the jab but Nappi is out of range.
