Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Pontes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rheyder JJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

JJ drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pontes looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pontes looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pontes!

That was a close round but I would say that Felipe Pontes will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
JJ ducks under a wild hook from Pontes.
Pontes misses with a hook. JJ ducked under it nicely.
Pontes jabs JJ right on the nose. JJ blinks but takes it well.
Pontes scores with the left hand. JJ knows he should have avoided that one.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pontes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
