The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Ant is just out of range.
Ant closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ant looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ant is working away from the top position though.

Ant shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
Ant got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ant has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jones is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Max Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
