Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Williamson! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Ho misses the target. Ho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williamson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ho somewhat. Williamson scores with a hook to the body. Ho takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The fighters circling - Ho throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ho keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ho with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Williamson to score with a decent uppercut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ho fails with a takedown attempt. Ho walks into a left hand. Williamson lands a right hook to the body.

Ho feints and as Williamson raises his hands in defense, Ho changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ho won't allow Williamson to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho wants to control from the top but Williamson keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williamson wants to stand but Ho is controlling the position. Williamson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ho is looking to work some ground and pound but Williamson has wrist control. Ho passes Williamson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ho is looking for a kimura here.
Ho is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Williamson is defending against the submission attempts here by Ho.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ho missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ho throwing shots but Williamson is blocking nicely. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ho content to control rather than advance.
