The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blaze looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Blaze tries to sprawl but Savage drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Savage lands strikes from half guard.
Savage looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Savage seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Savage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Savage uses his free foot to push down on Blaze's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Blaze.
Blaze really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
BOOM! Savage connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Savage unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Blaze wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Savage celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
