Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fraklin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Military Soviet Hymn . Fraklin Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fraklin Smith! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith ducks under a wild hook from Daniels. Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daniels. Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Smith is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Daniels knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Daniels wants to get back to his feet but Smith drags him back down. Smith tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Smith trying to control the position but Daniels is working away. Smith might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Daniels kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Smith is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Daniels wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daniels is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Daniels circles away and we're back to standing. No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt. Daniels swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Daniels throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Daniels looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely. Smith slips under a jab from Daniels. Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Daniels backs up against the cage.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Daniels saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jack Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fraklin Smith. Daniels falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smith counters with a nice body shot. Daniels misses with a hook
and Smith counters with a shoot takedown. Daniels fights it but they end up in guard. Smith slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Smith wants to pass the guard but Daniels is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Daniels keeping full guard, as Smith tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daniels pushes Smith off and gets back to his feet.
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daniels but Daniels pushes him off and we're back to square one. Daniels misses with a double jab
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Daniels tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot. Daniels throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Daniels is breathing heavily. Daniels throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smith counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Daniels throws an off balance right hand

That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels scores with a nice head shot. Smith shoots in for a double leg but Daniels sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Daniels misses with a right hand and Smith counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Smith wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Daniels wants to stand up but Smith is controlling him. Smith trying to move into half guard but instead Daniels has managed to sweep! Smith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daniels gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground. Smith is looking for a triangle but Daniels pushes his legs off easily.
Smith pushes a forearm under Daniels's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Daniels is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
