Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Tippawan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Inoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Tippawan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Inoki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tippawan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tippawan lands in his opponent's guard.
Tippawan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Inoki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Inoki scores with a nice shot.
Inoki lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Tippawan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Inoki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tippawan's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Inoki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Inoki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tippawan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Inoki wants to improve his position but Tippawan is controlling well.
Inoki makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Inoki.

Tippawan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Inoki on the ground.

Inoki wants to sweep here but Tippawan controlling him for the moment.
Tippawan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Inoki's head.
Tippawan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Tippawan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Inoki is trying to control the position but Tippawan postures up.
Tippawan is looking to work some ground and pound but Inoki has wrist control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tippawan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Tippawan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tippawan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Inoki is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tippawan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Inoki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tippawan manages to get himself to full guard.
Tippawan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tippawan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tippawan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Inoki bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tippawan has his foot on Inoki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Inoki works his way back into a safe position though.

A close round but Antonio Inoki will probably get the nod.

Inoki doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tippawan counters with an outside leg kick.
Inoki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Tippawan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Inoki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Inoki wants to sweep but no luck.
Inoki controls Tippawan momentarily but Tippawan frees himself.
Tippawan wants to stand but Inoki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Tippawan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tippawan manages to end up in side control.
Inoki gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Tippawan wants to control but Inoki is having none of it.

Tippawan has left one of his arms exposed and Inoki doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Tippawan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
