Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bruso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Ulpius Traianus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruso comes into the arena with Helena blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Marcus Ulpius Traianus enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traianus slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bruso throws a series of punches but Traianus moves out of range.

and Traianus counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bruso misses with a double jab
and Traianus counters with a good, hard body kick but Bruso shrugs it off.
Bruso blocks a head kick by Traianus.
Traianus misses with an uppercut. Bruso saw that one coming.
Bruso thows a leg kick but Traianus checks it
and Traianus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bruso's knee momentarily.
Traianus misses with a few strikes there.
Traianus avoids a kick to the body.
Traianus throws out a loose jab but Bruso uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bruso misses with a double jab
and Traianus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Traianus lands a head kick. Bruso smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Traianus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Bruso uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Traianus.
Bruso rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Traianus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Traianus's corner calls for a 1-2. Traianus obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bruso avoids the head kick by Traianus.

Traianus connects with a leg kick. Bruso looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Traianus moves in looking to clinch but Bruso pushes him off.
Bruso takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Traianus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Traianus cracks Bruso with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Traianus darts in and clinches Bruso up against the cage.
