PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Bonaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Immortal Technique-Point of no return. Bonaza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mnemic-Deathbox kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cory Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raul Bonaza!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaza works over Steel's head and body with a nice combination.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Steel is desperately trying to improve his position but Bonaza has a good base and remains in mount.

Steel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bonaza counters with a right hand to the body.
Cory Steel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bonaza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
