Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rock Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Shockey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jim Shockey enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shockey tries to clinch up
and Shockey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shockey moves to clinch but Roll breaks away
and Roll counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Roll throws a shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Roll.
Shockey closes the distance looking to clinch

and Roll counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Shockey is looking to stand up but Roll isn't so interested in that idea.
Roll seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Roll scoring with punches to the head and body.
Roll stops Shockey from standing up.
Shockey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roll. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roll postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roll lands a couple of elbows.
Shockey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shockey is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roll is aware though and is defending well.
Roll pushes down on Shockey's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Roll scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Roll has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Shockey wants to get back to his feet.

Well, if Roll is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Roll lands a big elbow - Shockey is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Roll!
