The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabbers keeps the fight on the outside.
Fabbers forces Van Der Merwe back against the cage and clinches.
Van Der Merwe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fabbers walks away with a smile on his face. Van Der Merwe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fabbers shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Fabbers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Der Merwe keeps working.
