Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Dos Alva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kingsley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blood Stained Nike's - Complete. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos Alva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dos Alva showed some decent athleticism there.

Kingsley leaves Dos Alva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dos Alva's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Kingsley takes a swing at Dos Alva's ribcage but misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kingsley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dos Alva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kingsley is in Dos Alva's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kingsley wants to get up but he can't break Dos Alva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dos Alva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kingsley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kingsley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kingsley here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
