Gator has chosen Drop it Like its Hot as his entrance music. Skeeter Gator has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Henry Thompson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gator fails with a takedown attempt.
Gator gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Thompson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gator tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Thompson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thompson throws a right and a left that both miss.

Thompson drives through and clinches with Gator against the cage.

Thompson tightens his grip and picks Gator up, before dumping him to the ground. Gator manages to land in guard.
Thompson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Thompson trying to control the position from guard on top but Gator is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thompson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Gator is working an open guard so Thompson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Gator 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Decent striking displayed by Thompson there.
Thompson misses with a few strikes there.
Henry Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thompson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gator was covering up waiting for the punch and Thompson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gator is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gator is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gator is still in real trouble! Can Thompson finish him?

Thompson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Gator seems to have recovered his senses.
Thompson advances to half guard.
Gator keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Gator wants to improve his position but Thompson is controlling well.

Thompson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Thompson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gator on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Well, if Thompson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Thompson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thompson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Thompson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gator with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Thompson moves into full mount! Gator won't be happy about that!

Thompson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Gator covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
