Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Alb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Chimal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alb comes to the cage accompanied by What Mama Said . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alb tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chimal was well out of range. Poor timing from Alb.
Nice takedown defense from Chimal. No joy for Alb on that attempt.
Alb just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alb. Chimal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chimal tries to clinch
and Alb counters with a shoot takedown. Chimal fights it but they end up in guard.
Chimal looking to hit a scissor sweep but Alb is one step ahead there.
Chimal is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Alb blocks an elbow strike.
Chimal creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Chimal pushes off an throws an elbow but Alb leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Chimal wants the takedown. Alb is fighting it off but Chimal persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Alb's guard against the cage.
Alb is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chimal is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alb looking for a guillotine here but Chimal defends easily.
Chimal trying to control the position from guard on top but Alb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chimal must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Chimal tries to free his leg and advance position but Alb is retaining full guard.
Chimal is posturing up here but Alb has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Chimal tries to roll out but it's too tight and Chimal has to tap! Slick submission there by Alb!
