Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Mode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mode's entrance music is get up get down. A fine choice. Chad Hart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Mode to counter with a crisp jab.
Hart gets caught flat footed, as Mode shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mode trying to control but Hart is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mode drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hart manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mode has Hart in his guard.
Hart pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mode is keeping the position for now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Beast Mode has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hart misses with a looping right.
Mode uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hart.
A telegraphed right hand from Hart misses the target.
Hart shoots for a double leg takedown but Mode sprawls well. He's pushed Hart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hart enables Mode to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hart manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mode is looking to work some ground and pound but Hart has wrist control.

Hart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mode is looking to advance position but Hart has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Mode is squirming around, avoiding Hart's attempts to control the action.
Hart scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hart postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mode looks a forlorn figure.
Hart lands a heavy elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Hart dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hart shoots in looking for a takedown but Mode manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hart's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looks like Beast Mode has been cut.
Hart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mode.
Hart fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hart misses with an uppercut.
Mode with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hart to score with a decent uppercut.
Hart dips to his left and cracks Mode with an uppercut!

and Hart counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Mode decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hart's guard.
