The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vascez lands with a slapping head kick.
Rockne pushes Vascez up against the cage in a clinch.
A short right from Rockne.
Vascez tries a knee to the head but Rockne blocks it.
Rockne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rockne checks a leg kick.
Rockne darts in and clinches Vascez up against the cage.
Rockne breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vascez throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Rockne counters with a monster head kick that knocks Vascez out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Knute Rockne!
