And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Collins!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Collins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Collins scores with a decent looking hook.
Jackson tries to clinch
and Collins counters with a big head kick but Jackson shrugs it off.
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Collins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Collins.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Collins decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Collins moves into range and clinches up with Jackson.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jackson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Collins is trying to keep an underhook but Jackson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jackson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Collins escapes and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Collins has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Collins stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Collins decides to stand back up. Collins steps back and let's Jackson get back to his feet.

James Collins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Collins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Collins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Collins has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

James Collins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Collins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
