Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hippity Hop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hippity Hop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hop looks to land a right hand but Hawkins moved out of range.
Hop falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hawkins moves into the clinch.
Hop is trying to break free.
Hawkins is trying to break the clinch but Hop is controlling him.
Hop blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Hawkins is trying to break free.
Hop wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hop is trying to break the clinch but Hawkins has him pressed against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hawkins keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hop's efforts to push away.
Hawkins is trying to stall.

Hawkins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hawkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Hop.
Hop takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Hippity Hop has been cut.
Hop swings widly with a right hand
and Hawkins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hop lands a left and a right that send Hawkins crashing to the mat, dazed. Hop thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hawkins is rocked!
It looks like Jason Hawkins has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hop throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hawkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Hop finish him?
Hawkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hop manages to avoid it.
Hop misses with a hook
and Hop takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hop swinging wildly here.
Hawkins seems to have recovered his senses.
Hop misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Hawkins to counter with a crisp jab.
Hawkins tries to clinch
and Hop counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hippity Hop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawkins tries to clinch up
and Hop counters with a big right hand! Oh Hawkins is in trouble here! Hop follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hippity Hop!
