Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andre Torrez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Howard Yuen!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torrez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yuen circles away.
Torrez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Yuen counters with a nice uppercut.
Yuen misses with a head kick.
Torrez misses with a takedown
and Yuen counters with a good low kick that Torrez was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Torrez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yuen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Torrez has his takedown stuffed
and Yuen counters with a big head kick but Torrez shrugs it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slapping leg kick lands for Yuen.
Torrez is breathing heavily.

and Yuen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Yuen lands a high kick!
It looks like Andre Torrez has been cut.

Yuen throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Torrez fails with the takedown
and Yuen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Torrez's knee momentarily.
Torrez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Yuen lands a big head kick that sends Torrez tumbling to the mat! Yuen takes a step backwards and waves Torrez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Yuen throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Torrez crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
