Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Parfait PrudHomme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Gooden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase Gooden is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gooden throws a series of punches but PrudHomme moves out of range.

PrudHomme clinches up with Gooden and pushes him back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Gooden just misses with a elbow thrown towards PrudHomme's brow.

PrudHomme wants the takedown. Gooden is fighting it off but PrudHomme persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gooden's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gooden is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Gooden drops back looking for a leg! PrudHomme is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and PrudHomme manages to kick Gooden off! Gooden jumps back into PrudHomme's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Parfait PrudHomme will probably get the nod.
