Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beef Broccoli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broccoli comes into the arena with Clubbed to Death blaring out of the sound system. Brandon Brooks is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Broccoli. Broccoli darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Broccoli is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brooks is defending against the submission attempts here by Broccoli.

Broccoli tries to free his leg and advance position but Brooks is retaining full guard. Broccoli postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brooks! Broccoli is breathing heavily.

Broccoli tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brooks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Broccoli sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Broccoli tries to roll over but Brooks keeps him under control. Broccoli looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brooks not doing much here.
Broccoli is looking to get back to full guard here but Brooks has managed to pass to side control instead. Brooks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Broccoli works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brooks can do anything to dispel that myth. Broccoli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Broccoli passes Brooks's left leg - he's now in half guard. Broccoli tries to pass the half guard into mount. Brooks knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Broccoli is trying to work for a kimura but Brooks is defending well.

Brooks kicks Broccoli off and gets back to his feet. Brooks is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brooks is looking to clinch. Brandon Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Brooks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brooks wants to clinch up but Broccoli keeps it at a distance. Brooks clinches but Broccoli breaks the clinch and Broccoli counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Brooks! Brooks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Broccoli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brooks is wriggling around trying to escape.

Broccoli jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Brooks is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Brooks and Broccoli has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Possibly, maybe, no Broccoli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beef Broccoli dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Beef Broccoli's cut. That's time! Broccoli's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Broccoli shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brooks as he avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Broccoli. Brooks tries to clinch and Broccoli decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brooks's guard. Broccoliis looking to pass into half guard but Brooks pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Brooks is in guard. Broccoli looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brooks is one step ahead there. Broccoli looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brooks has picked Broccoli up and slammed him! Broccoli can't keep hold of the triangle and Brooks manages to pass to side control! Brooks postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's one minute gone in the round. Broccoli is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brooks decides to take the fight back to the feet. Brooks lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Brooks looks to clinch and Broccoli counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Brooks is trying to maintain the position but Broccoli is very close to passing his half guard. Broccoli is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Broccoli is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Brooks has managed to free his arm - good work. Broccoli works his foot free and advances to mount. Broccoli fails to move to back control. Broccoli goes for an armbar but Brooks turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Brooks. Broccoli looking for a sweep. Not yet Broccoli, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broccoli is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Broccoli has his foot on Brooks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brooks works his way back into a safe position though. Broccoli wants to sweep but no luck. Broccoli has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brooks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Broccoli is looking to sweep but instead, Brooks has passed into half guard.
