The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lamont fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Helinski sprawls well initially but Lamont persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lamont uses his free foot to push down on Helinski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Helinski.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Helinski wants to hold on but Lamont pushes him away.
Lamont cracks Helinski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lamont lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Helinski hang on?

Helinski is rocked!
A big strike lands for Lamont! That's really hurt Helinski and he's turned his back - Lamont keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lamont jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
