Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilius Cabrekornit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thiago Tavares has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thiago Tavares seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Tavares.
Tavares ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Thiago Tavares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabrekornit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tavares swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tavares defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cabrekornit.
Cabrekornit wants to clinch but Tavares slips to the side
and Tavares counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tavares keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tavares throws a shot to the body.
Cabrekornit takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tavares lands a nice hook to Cabrekornit's body. Cabrekornit takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tavares throws a body punch but Cabrekornit moves out of range.

and Tavares counters with a left to the body.
Tavares misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cabrekornit on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Tavares lands with a shot to the body.

Tavares keeps the fight on the outside.
Tavares gets tackled into the cage by Cabrekornit. Cabrekornit maintains the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Tavares lands a left hand.
Tavares jumps guard but Cabrekornit stands there with Tavares around his waist. Tavares gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cabrekornit manages to pull guard.
Tavares got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cabrekornit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tavares has managed to get both his arms back between Cabrekornit's legs - danger averted.

Tavares tries to stand but Cabrekornit is controlling from the bottom.
Cabrekornit lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tavares!
Cabrekornit looking to control but Tavares is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Cabrekornit throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tavares because Cabrekornit loaded up on that one.
Cabrekornit throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Tavares tries to reverse the position but Cabrekornit maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tavares is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Cabrekornit fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cabrekornit can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tavares is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cabrekornit tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cabrekornit working for a submission but Tavares is keeping him at bay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Cabrekornit counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Cabrekornit tries to clinch but Tavares is having none of it.
A bone on bone clash there as Tavares blocks the leg kick.

The fight stays on the outside here - Cabrekornit looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tavares stuffs the takedown attempt from Cabrekornit. Cabrekornit gets slowly back to his feet.
Cabrekornit tries to clinch up but Tavares circles away and keeps his distance.
Cabrekornit doesn't manage to clinch there - Tavares circles away.
Tavares tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cabrekornit was well out of range. Poor timing from Tavares.
Cabrekornit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tavares.
Cabrekornit lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Thiago Tavares has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tavares gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cabrekornit.
Cabrekornit misses with a takedown attempt - Tavares sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cabrekornit dives in and grabs Tavares's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tavares pushes down on Cabrekornit's head and hops out.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Cabrekornit! Tavares is out on his feet! Cabrekornit rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Tavares is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Tavares is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
