Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sung Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shawn Spencer! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spencer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Spencer slips under a jab. Kim scores with a jab to the jaw. Spencer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Sung Kim has been cut. Spencer misses with an uppercut. Spencer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shawn Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kim takes a shot right to the bread basket. Spencer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Spencer avoids a kick to the body.

Spencer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Spencer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kim lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Spencer scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

and Kim counters with a two punch combo. A telegraphed right hand from Spencer misses the target. Spencer throws a lazy right hand but Kim sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kim lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spencer circles away quickly and effectively. Spencer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kim's hands. That's four minutes gone in the round. Spencer misses with a right hand and Kim makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Kim throws a head kick but Spencer moves out of range.
Spencer keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sung Kim's cut is getting worse. Spencer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kim counters with a left and a right that stings Spencer. Spencer misses with a left hand and Kim counters with a nice leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kim lands with a kick to the temple. Spencer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Spencer gets tackled into the cage by Kim. Kim maintains the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim moves out of range of the strikes. Spencer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Spencer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kim misses with a body kick. Kim throws a nice looking combination but Spencer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Spencer throws a poor cross that misses
and Kim counters with a two punch combo.

Spencer misses with a right hand and Kim counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Nice straight punches there by Kim. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kim. Spencer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Spencer blocks the body kick.
Spencer swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kim counters with a single leg into guard. Spencer didn't expect that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spencer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kim defends it easily. Kim drops back looking for a leg! Spencer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spencer manages to kick Kim off! Kim jumps back into Spencer's guard. Kim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spencer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kim throwing strikes from guard but Spencer blocks nicely. Kim thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kim won't allow Spencer to sweep him here. Kim has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Spencer is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Spencer trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Spencer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kim kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Spencer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kim looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Spencer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Spencer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Spencer trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Spencer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kim is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kim has escaped and now he's on top! Spencer keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spencer pushes a forearm under Kim's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kim is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
