Lamaar has chosen Pledge To Hedley Lamaar as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Heddy Lamaar enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Heddy Lamaar!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Savage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lamaar looks to score with a jab to the body but Savage is just out of range.
Lamaar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Savage paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Savage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lamaar circles away quickly and effectively.
Lamaar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Savage's waist but Savage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lamaar off to one side.
Savage blocks a low kick nicely.
Lamaar throws a right hand that misses
and Savage counters with an outside leg kick.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from Lamaar.
Nice uppercut lands for Savage. That snapped Lamaar's head back.

Savage throws a jab when Lamaar was well out of range.
Savage checks a leg kick.
Lamaar throws a lazy body kick
and Savage counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Heddy Lamaar has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Savage counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lamaar looks gassed!
Savage cracks Lamaar with a right hand to the side of the head.
Savage moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Savage lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Lamaar - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Savage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randy Savage!
