Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Locked (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kung Lao will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Locked! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kung Lao! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Locked looks to land a left hand but Lao moved out of range nicely. Lao moves in looking to clinch but Locked pushes him off. Locked drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Locked is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lao keeping moving, preventing Locked from controlling successfully. Lao is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Locked defends well. Lao controls Locked momentarily but Locked frees himself. Locked sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lao's guard. Locked is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Locked trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Locked throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lao was covering up waiting for the punch and Locked finishes the takedown easily into guard. Locked drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lao dives on top into guard. Lao trying to control but Locked is working from the bottom. Locked looking for a guillotine here but Lao defends easily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kung Lao hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A head kick misses from Lao. Lao misses with a low kick.
Locked shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lao's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Locked is looking to stand up but Lao won't let him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lao is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Locked wants to control from the top but Lao keeps moving. Lao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Locked decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Locked frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Locked throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lao has his hands clasped together but Locked breaks the hold and Lao is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Locked!
