The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Diaz showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peters is in trouble now - Diaz has advanced to mount!
Peters tries to improve his position but Diaz has taken his back! Diaz has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Peters tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Diaz pushes Peters away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
