The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter throws a lazy head kick
and Cole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cole avoids the head kick by Walter.
Cole moves into range and connects with a jab.
Steven Walter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walter throws a sloppy head kick
and Cole counters with a nice body shot.
A head kick by Walter misses
and Walter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cole moves into the clinch.
Walter tries a knee to the head but Cole blocks it.
Cole's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cole lands an overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walter throws a head kick that misses
and Cole counters with a straight right hand.
Walter looks gassed!
Cole lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Walter throws a sloppy head kick
and Cole counters with a crisp right hand that drops Walter! Cole lets Walter back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Walter is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Cole ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Walter clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
