Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richie Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montana comes to the cage accompanied by "We are the Champions" by Queen. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang moves forwards but Montana connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Yang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yang misses with a takedown

and Montana holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Yang tries to pull guard but Montana holds him up against the cage and eventually Yang drops back down to his feet.

Montana's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Montana moves in looking to clinch but Yang pushes him off.

Montana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yang on the ground.

Yang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Montana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Yang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Montana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Yang throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Montana escapes and throws Yang's legs to the side, diving into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Montana will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A solid leg kick lands there for Montana.
Montana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yang paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Montana counters with a nice low kick that buckles Yang's knee momentarily.
Montana looks to land a combination but Yang avoids it well.
Yang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Montana sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Montana lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Montana lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Montana misses with a few strikes there.
That kick from Montana tenderised Yang's leg. Yang is trying to keep his angry face on.
Montana pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Yang back to the cage. Montana follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Yang is still on wobbly legs! Can Montana finish him?

Montana closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Montana uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Yang seems to have recovered his senses.
Montana lands a really nice looking cross but Yang seems unphased.
Yang is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Horrible takedown by Yang or perhaps it was just good defense by Montana which made him look bad.
