Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herval Coutinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Thing. Coutinho has chosen In The End as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Lynch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Herval Coutinho! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Coutinho, pushing him back against the cage. Lynch goes for a takedown in the clinch but Coutinho prevents it.
Lynch tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lynch turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lynch manages to end up in side control. Coutinho is trying to get back to half guard. Lynch controlling the position. Coutinho is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Lynch content to control rather than advance. Lynch is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Coutinho has managed to free his arm - good work. Coutinho looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lynch wants to work for an arm triangle but Coutinho is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch trying to control from half guard but Coutinho is working away. Coutinho moves into full guard.
Coutinho keeping moving, preventing Lynch from controlling successfully. Coutinho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lynch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lynch wants to pass the guard but Coutinho is keeping the position. Lynch drops back looking for a leg! Coutinho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coutinho manages to kick Lynch off! Lynch jumps back into Coutinho's guard. Lynch is breathing heavily. Lynch postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lynch looking to pass the guard. Lynch trying to control the position from guard on top but Coutinho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lynch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coutinho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lynch throws a big shot that misses. Coutinho looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Coutinho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lynch pinned against the cage. Lynch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lynch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lynch with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch looking to control but Coutinho is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lynch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Coutinho manages to avoid the submission attempt. Lynch goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Coutinho has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lynch but great work by Coutinho. Lynch is trying to get back to half guard. Lynch manages to work his way to half guard, despite Coutinho's best efforts. Lynch trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lynch moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Coutinho wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Lynch's closed guard. He's half up but Lynch has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Lynch pivots and extends the arm, Coutinho falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Lynch! Well done that man!
