Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Rabago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Rabago! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabago lands a two punch combo.
Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silva lands in his opponent's guard. Silva won't allow Rabago to get back to his feet. Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Silva prevents Rabago from getting back to his feet. Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Silva wants to pass the guard but Rabago is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabago avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rabago is keeping the position for now. Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Anderson Silva wasn't doing enough on the ground. Silva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rabago looks to clinch and Silva counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Silva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Silva circles away from the clinch attempt and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rabago looks gassed! Silva postures up and lands a big shot to Rabago's brow. Silva landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Silva pushing down on Rabago's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Silva slips a nice elbow through Rabago's hands, connecting with Rabago's forehead. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rabago tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Silva!
