Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dante Auditore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Riggs!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auditore avoids the body shot from Riggs.
Auditore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Riggs counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Auditore misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Riggs to counter with a crisp jab.
Riggs scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Auditore doesn't seem bothered though.
Auditore gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Riggs gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Auditore is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derek Riggs!
