Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kio Lunguo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poncjusz Zabawka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kio Lunguo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kio Lunguo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Poncjusz Zabawka!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabawka takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Some bone on bone action there as Lunguo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lunguo shoots in and bounces Zabawka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Zabawka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lunguo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lunguo throwing strikes from guard but Zabawka blocks nicely.
Zabawka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lunguo defends well.
Zabawka wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Lunguo passes into half guard.
Lunguo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Zabawka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lunguo defends well.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Zabawka holds on and takes a little breather.
Lunguo trying to control the position from guard on top but Zabawka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zabawka has his foot on Lunguo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lunguo works his way back into a safe position though.
Zabawka trying to keep a closed guard but Lunguo is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lunguo advances to half guard.

Zabawka tries to roll over but Lunguo keeps him under control.
Lunguo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Zabawka is looking to control Lunguo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zabawka avoid being mounted?
Zabawka is looking for a sweep. Lunguo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zabawka makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zabawka.
Zabawka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Zabawka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Zabawka is looking for a triangle but Lunguo pushes his legs off easily.

Zabawka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lunguo stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Zabawka tries to score with a low kick but Lunguo moves his leg out of the way.
Lunguo dives in and scores a takedown into Zabawka's guard.
Lunguo postures up.
Lunguo throwing strikes but missing.
Lunguo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Zabawka is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lunguo, into his guard.
Zabawka engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Lunguo working for a triangle but Zabawka defends it easily.
Zabawka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lunguo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Zabawka is working Lunguo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zabawka prevents Lunguo from getting back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Poncjusz Zabawka will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Zabawka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lunguo sprawls well initially but Zabawka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Zabawka takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Zabawka passes to full mount!
Lunguo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Zabawka landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Lunguo is looking to escape.
Zabawka is looking to take a break and control but Lunguo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zabawka thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Lunguo to regain full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Zabawka's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Zabawka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lunguo dives on top into guard.
Poncjusz Zabawka has got the better of the ground game so far.

Zabawka looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lunguo has gone for a leg lock! Zabawka slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lunguo's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Zabawka works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Zabawka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lunguo defend it? Zabawka steps over the head and cranks it - Lunguo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Zabawka!
