Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dusko Niksa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niksa comes to the cage accompanied by T.N.T. Riley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Niksa misses with a lunging right hand
and Riley counters with a right hand that sends Niksa tumbling to the canvas! Can Riley finish him? He dives into Niksa's guard looking to do just that!
Niksa is rocked! Riley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Oh Niksa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Riley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Riley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Riley drops back looking for a leg! Niksa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Niksa manages to kick Riley off! Riley jumps back into Niksa's guard. Niksa seems to have got his legs back now. Riley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Niksa dives on top into guard. Niksa controlling from the top position. Riley keeping moving, preventing Niksa from controlling successfully. Niksa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Niksa has picked Riley up and slammed him! Riley can't keep hold of the triangle and Niksa manages to pass to side control! Riley is trying to get back to half guard. Niksa moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Riley is trying to improve his position. Riley is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Riley is looking for a sweep. Niksa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Riley has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Niksa escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Niksa!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Niksa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riley keeps working. Riley is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Niksa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Riley looking for submissions off his back. Niksa tries to pass to full mount but Riley defends it. Riley looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Niksa keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Niksa pulls his head out easily. Niksa trying to control the action but Riley is working from the bottom. Riley won't allow Niksa to pass to mount. Still in half guard, Niksa seems content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dusko Niksa wasn't doing enough on the ground. Niksa misses with a hook
and Riley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Niksa with a body punch. A glancing blow. Riley throws a predictable looking body shot
and Niksa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Riley ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Niksa throws a body punch but Riley moves out of range. Riley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Niksa.
Niksa throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Riley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Niksa throws an off balance right hand
and Riley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Riley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Riley avoids the body shot from Niksa.
A big left from Niksa misses. Niksa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Riley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Niksa misses with a left hand and Riley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Niksa tries to land a leg kick but Riley saw it coming and moves away.
A jab from Niksa finds it's way through Riley's defenses. Riley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Niksa throws a sloppy body shot
and Riley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Niksa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
John Riley seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Riley counters with a crisp right that sends Niksa to the canvas! Riley follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
