Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trajan Langdon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Amir Magamedov!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langdon doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Magamedov to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Trajan Langdon has been cut.
Langdon fails with the takedown
and Magamedov counters with a nice right hand that sends Langdon toppling to the canvas! Langdon scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Magamedov finish him?!
Langdon is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Magamedov moves into the clinch.
Magamedov has Langdon pressed against the cage.
Magamedov lands a damaging elbow.
Langdon is fighting off a takedown attempt but Magamedov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Langdon to the mat. Langdon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Langdon is looking for a triangle but Magamedov pushes his legs off easily.
Langdon wants to stand but Magamedov is controlling the position.
Magamedov trying to control the position from guard on top but Langdon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Langdon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Magamedov frees his head nicely. Oh but Langdon has switched to an armbar! Magamedov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
