Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Parameshwar Jolokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanex Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jolokia comes to the cage accompanied by Dimmu Borgir - The Mourning Palace. Lewis has chosen Snoop DoGG as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis tries for a takedown but Jolokia circles away easily
and Jolokia counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lewis misses with a body punch
and Jolokia counters with a nice uppercut.
Lewis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lewis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lewis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jolokia is keeping the position for now.
Lewis pushes down on Jolokia's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Jolokia makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Lewis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lewis goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jolokia has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lewis but great work by Jolokia.
Lewis tries to bench press Jolokia off him but Jolokia keeps the position.

Lewis tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Lewis is looking for a sweep.
The referee asks Jolokia politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jolokia prefers to stall for the moment though.
Jolokia decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Jolokia lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lewis takes a step back to recover.
Lewis throws a leg kick
and Jolokia counters with a big head kick but Lewis shrugs it off.
Lewis walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jolokia.
Lewis has his takedown stuffed
and Jolokia connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lewis looks gassed!
Jolokia scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses
and Jolokia counters with a straight right hand.
Lewis misses with a double jab
and Jolokia counters with an outside leg kick.
Jolokia is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Jolokia lands a high kick!
A low kick from Lewis is predictable there
enabling Jolokia to counter with a crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lewis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jolokia counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lewis is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Parameshwar Jolokia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanex Lewis.

Lewis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jolokia counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jolokia.
Jolokia lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lewis backwards.
Jolokia lands a nice uppercut.

A nice right hand lands inside from Jolokia.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jolokia creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jolokia lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lewis is rocked!
Jolokia dips a shoulder and cracks Lewis with a mighty uppercut! Lewis falls back against the cage and Jolokia unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lewis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jolokia screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Parameshwar Jolokia!
