Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthews comes to the cage accompanied by God's Gonna Cut You Down . The key to victory for Mike Matthews has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Matthews! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fat Hoos! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Matthews.
Matthews misses with a hook
and Hoos counters with a stiff right hand. Hoos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hoos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Matthews rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hoos counters with a nice uppercut. Matthews stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoos. Hoos gets slowly back to his feet. Matthews misses with a hook
and Hoos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Matthews's guard. Hoos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Matthews avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Matthews has momentary wrist control but Hoos slips an elbow through the middle. Hoos controls from within his opponent's guard. Hoos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Matthews works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hoos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoos scoring with punches to the head and body. Matthews on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Matthews tries to get out of the position. Hoos showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Matthews keeping moving, preventing Hoos from controlling successfully. Hoos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Matthews kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Fat Hoos hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Matthews misses with a lunging right hand
and Hoos counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hoos connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hoos scores a takedown into full mount! Hoos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Matthews is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hoos tries to control but Matthews wriggling away. Hoos scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hoos with a couple of short strikes. Hoos controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoos cracks Matthews with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hoos throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hoos has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Matthews's face.
Matthews knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoos on the ground. Hoos working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Matthews turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hoos off and cradles Matthews's limp body as Hoos celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Fat Hoos!
