Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gracie Jitsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kung Pow! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pow tries to clinch there but Jitsu circles away.
Jitsu shoots in but no luck this time. Jitsu has his takedown stuffed enabling Pow to counter with a crisp jab. Jitsu with a poor takedown and Pow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gracie Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jitsu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pow swings widly with a right hand
and Jitsu counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jitsu throwing shots but Pow is blocking nicely. Jitsu is trying to control the action in half guard but Pow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jitsu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jitsu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jitsu throwing shots but Pow is blocking nicely. Jitsu wants to pass to mount but Pow is defending the position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jitsu in particular looking to stall. Jitsu is trying to control. Pow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Jitsu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jitsu throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jitsu landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jitsu sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pow defending well though. Jitsu trying to control the action but Pow is working from the bottom. Jitsu moves nicely into side control. Jitsu controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu trying to control the position but Pow is working away. Jitsu swings around for an armbar but Pow sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jitsu's guard. Pow wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Jitsu's closed guard. He's half up but Jitsu has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Jitsu pivots and extends the arm, Pow falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Jitsu! Well done that man!
