Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigmund Freud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuka Brasil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brasil has chosen Gang Starr - Work as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sigmund Freud could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yuka Brasil's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sigmund Freud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yuka Brasil! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brasil throws a hook to the side of Freud's head but Freud sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Freud tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick lands from Freud that sends Brasil to the canvas. Brasil tries to scramble back to his feet but Freud brings him back down into side control.
Brasil is rocked!
It looks like Yuka Brasil has been cut. Brasil tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brasil is still in real trouble! Can Freud finish him? Brasil is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Brasil holding on. Freud wants to stand but Brasil is controlling his arm. Brasil is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Brasil seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Brasil drives through and clinches with Freud against the ropes.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Brasil keeps control of Freud as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Brasil is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Freud gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Brasil has clasped his hands together around Freud's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Brasil blocks the strikes from Freud.
Freud gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Brasil is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Freud is surviving well by controlling Brasil's body position as best he can. Freud really wants to buck Brasil off and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brasil working away from the top, dropping strikes. Brasil controlling the position easily from mount. Freud knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brasil on the ground. Freud tries to lock up and control but Brasil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Brasil landing strikes, looking to finish! Brasil controlling the pace for now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Brasil seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Freud is holding on tight.
Brasil looks gassed! Freud avoids a series of strikes thrown by Brasil.
Brasil swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Freud is now in Brasil's guard. A big mistake from Brasil there, giving up the dominant position! Brasil is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freud trying to stand up but can't free himself from Brasil's guard. Freud postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brasil is on top in guard.
Brasil slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Brasil is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Brasil drops back looking for a leg! Freud is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Freud manages to kick Brasil off! Brasil jumps back into Freud's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Brasil slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Brasil working some strikes from top position. Freud is trying to control the position but Brasil postures up. Brasil slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Freud can't keep his opponent in guard - Brasil advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Brasil is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Brasil is trying to work for a kimura but Freud is defending well.
Brasil has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Freud defend it? Brasil steps over the head and cranks it - Freud is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brasil!
