Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alvin Bensin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cronan moves to clinch but Bensin breaks away
enabling Bensin to counter with a crisp jab.
Cronan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Cronan does it's job there.
It looks like Alvin Bensin has been cut.
Bensin swats away the attempt to clinch by Cronan.
Bensin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cronan is looking to clinch.
Bensin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bensin misses with the combination.
Cronan tries to clinch up but Bensin circles away and keeps his distance.
Cronan misses with a takedown attempt
and Bensin counters with a head kick that drops Cronan to the mat! Cronan scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cronan closes the distance and clinches up with Bensin, looking for a takedown. Cronan pushes Bensin against the cage but Bensin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Cronan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bensin swats away the attempt to clinch by Cronan.
Bensin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cronan tries to close the distance and clinch but Bensin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cronan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cronan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bensin fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bensin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bensin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Cronan lands a shot to the body.
Cronan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Cronan misses with a knee to the head.
Cronan is trying to break the clinch but Bensin has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bensin wants to get back to striking at distance but Cronan won't allow it.
Cronan lands a left hand.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Cronan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bensin is defending well for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bensin striking off his back but it's not causing Cronan any problems.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bensin holds on and takes a little breather.
Bensin manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cronan tries to clinch but Bensin is having none of it.
Bensin throws a sloppy head kick and Cronan moves out of range easily.
Bensin dives in and grabs Cronan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cronan pushes down on Bensin's head and hops out.

Cronan throws a right hand that Bensin ducks under and follows up with a left that Bensin also avoids with ease.

Bensin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bensin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Alvin Bensin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bensin misses with a few strikes there.
Bensin drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cronan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bensin defends well.
Bensin wants to pass the guard but Cronan is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bensin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cronan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bensin is looking to defend but Cronan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bensin! Cronan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bensin taps out and this one is all over!
