The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luppy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so LaVey counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Luppy keeping moving, preventing LaVey from controlling successfully.
Luppy looking for a sweep. Not yet Luppy, not yet.
Luppy trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
LaVey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Luppy throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
LaVey trying to control the position from guard on top but Luppy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Luppy can't keep his opponent in guard - LaVey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Luppy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

LaVey is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Luppy has managed to free his arm - good work.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

LaVey is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Luppy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
