The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrer wants to clinch.
Dag slips a jab and a cross from Herrer.

Dag shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Herrer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Herrer enables Dag to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Herrer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Dag drops back, looking for a kneebar! Herrer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Herrer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Herrer!

Herrer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Herrer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dag moves away.
Herrer throws a low kick, looking for Dag's leg but Dag calmly moves out of range.
Herrer slaps away a takedown attempt from Dag, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Herrer is looking to clinch.
Herrer thows a body shot but no joy.

Dag drives through with a takedown into Herrer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
