Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Thomson wants to stand but Frey is controlling the position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Frey in particular looking to stall.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Frey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frey wants it to stay on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Frey has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Thomson's face.

You get the feeling that Thomson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
