Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Maxwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrews is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maxwell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Andrews is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Andrews can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ryan Maxwell has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Andrews scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Ryan Maxwell has been cut.

Andrews throws a right and a left that both miss.
Andrews bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Andrews tries to get to his feet but Maxwell is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Andrews in his guard.
Andrews trying to stand up but can't free himself from Maxwell's guard.
Maxwell thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Maxwell is trying to keep Andrews in close.
Andrews wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Maxwell's closed guard. He's half up but Maxwell has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Maxwell pivots and extends the arm, Andrews falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Maxwell! Well done that man!
