Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant comes to the cage accompanied by Diesel Power. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Larry Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Martinez! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant misses with a few strikes there.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Grant napping and manages to drive through into side control! Martinez controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jose Martinez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Martinez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Martinez looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Martinez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Martinez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Grant on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Grant tries to get out of the position. Martinez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Grant manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martinez works to advance to full mount. Grant defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Martinez controlling his opponent. Grant squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Martinez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Martinez lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Martinez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like Martinez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Grant is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grant is in a horrible position here. Martinez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Martinez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Martinez has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Grant is forced to tap!
